Amy and Mark's Wedding. CordeValle
Ceremony and reception at the CordeValle Resort in San Martin.
A tad over a week ago we were afforded a pleasant respite from wildfires burning in the Bay Area and took part in Amy and Mark's wonderfully relaxed and emotional wedding. They made a great decision selecting the exclusive CordeValle because it is very picturesque with an incredible service staff to boot. The hilly and sprawling property provided our very own golf cart to drive from location to location. With a simple call to the lobby a golf cart limo's appeared at the front door to transport the wedding party. How cool is that?
Bright smiles and bright colors ruled the day. The ladies ordered in champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and lunch as the stylist finished her work. We had a great view of the surrounding hills and took advantage of it with a few impromptu group shots outside. Amy looked stunning as she offered small gifts to the bridesmaids just before setting off to the ceremony.
The guys were ready early and we were able to grab some shots around the well appointed clubhouse. I think I heard about a Costco hotdog run somewhere in there too. The late afternoon sun had many guests using the provided parasols. Set on a large and very green lawn the ceremony was simple and sweet and punctuated by a ring featuring a large gem (of candy).
I stole some moments away from the din for some simple portraits with just Amy and Mark. As the sun set behind the hills, festivities moved indoors. Several heartfelt speeches, dramatic home videos, and a serenade had many people tearing up.
